Terms of
Service.
These terms govern website design, launch, and ongoing website-care services provided by North Meridian Works. A written order, checkout page, or project confirmation may add project-specific details.
Core service and pricing
The standard offer is a $250 one-time setup and launch fee plus $50 per month for ongoing website care. The setup fee covers custom website design and initial build, initial content setup, responsive optimization, launch, standard custom-domain registration, and contact-form configuration. Prices for work outside that scope will be disclosed before the additional work begins.
Ongoing website care
The monthly service includes website hosting, SSL and security infrastructure, continued contact-form operation, technical maintenance, routine content updates, ongoing website care, and standard domain renewal while the account remains active and paid.
Routine updates and additional work
Routine updates include reasonable changes to existing pages, such as business hours, photographs, existing-page copy, services, staff information, and contact details. Major redesigns, substantial new functionality, e-commerce, complex booking systems, large new sections, or other work materially outside the existing website are not included automatically and may require separate pricing.
Domains
Standard domain registration is included in the setup fee, and standard renewal is included while monthly service remains active. Premium, aftermarket, unusually expensive, or specially negotiated domains are separate. The customer owns its domain. North Meridian Works may register, configure, and manage it for convenience, but will provide a reasonable process to transfer control when service ends after required account and identity verification.
Customer responsibilities
The customer must provide accurate business information, lawful content, timely approvals, and any permissions needed for text, photographs, logos, trademarks, reviews, or other materials supplied to North Meridian Works. The customer is responsible for the accuracy and legality of customer-provided content and for promptly reviewing material facts before launch.
Content and intellectual property
The customer retains ownership of content and brand materials it provides. North Meridian Works retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, reusable systems, methods, and know-how. Any project-specific transfer of editable source files or ownership rights beyond the customer’s domain and supplied content will be stated in the applicable written order or project confirmation.
Payments and nonpayment
Payments may be processed by Stripe and are subject to the payment terms shown at checkout. If a payment is overdue, North Meridian Works may pause work or, after reasonable notice and an opportunity to cure, suspend website care or hosting until the account is current. Suspension does not transfer or eliminate the customer’s domain ownership.
Cancellation
The monthly service is intended to be straightforward and does not require a long-term lock-in unless a separate written agreement expressly says otherwise. A customer may request cancellation in writing. North Meridian Works will stop future recurring charges in accordance with the applicable billing cycle, coordinate the domain-control transfer, and explain any practical steps needed to move services elsewhere.
Acceptable use
Services may not be used for unlawful activity, fraud, infringement, harassment, malware, deceptive practices, or content that creates unreasonable security or operational risk. North Meridian Works may refuse or terminate work that violates these requirements.
Availability and maintenance
We work to keep websites secure and available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, provider outages, domain or DNS changes, internet failures, attacks, and events outside our reasonable control may affect availability. We may perform reasonable maintenance needed to protect or operate the service.
No guaranteed business results
North Meridian Works provides design and website-care services, not a guarantee of search rankings, traffic, leads, revenue, or other business outcomes.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, North Meridian Works will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from the services. North Meridian Works’ aggregate liability relating to a claim will not exceed the amount the customer paid to North Meridian Works during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law.
Termination
Either party may terminate services for a material breach that is not cured after reasonable notice. North Meridian Works may terminate immediately for unlawful use, security threats, fraud, or abuse. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, intellectual-property terms, disclaimers, and liability limits—will survive.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties will first try in good faith to resolve disputes informally.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms prospectively as the service evolves. Material changes will not retroactively alter an existing paid order without agreement. Questions or notices may be sent to:
